Also, barely any of the lore had been revealed at the time, so I remember relying heavily on character quotes. You could say that either this happened before anyone else got dragged in, or more realistically: none of the others survived. Obviously this was written before Don't Starve Together was released (post-Adventure Mode) so there won't be any survivors other than Wilson and Maxwell. And MOST of the fic was already done either way, and just required some editing. Sadly I can't quite remember what I had originally planned for the parts that were missing, but I'm fairly pleased with the new ideas I got. Now that I'm back in the fandom, I decided to pick it up again after 9 years. Completely in present tense and in first person, with every chapter from a different character's point of view and having (spoilers!) no happy ending.
